Save the Date...Nostalgia's Vintage Market Day - July 24th

Hello all!

We're working on detals for our very first "occasional sale" - and we're calling it "Nostalgia's Vintage Market Day".

It will be on Saturday, July 24th - tentatively scheduled for 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at my house in Mansfield, Ohio (map to be provided).

We have rounded up 5 or 6 vendors who, along with us, will be selling antique, vintage and primitive furnishings and decor for the home and garden, as well as our own vintage handcrafted/repurposed items and some beautiful redesigned jewelry.  We hope to create a styled vintage look with all these beautiful items intermingled - and everything will be priced so well you're sure to go home with some wonderful treasures to enhance your home, garden or collection...  And we'll also provide you with some summertime refreshments to make you feel right at home!

It's gonna be a day of fun junking/shopping, with possibly a neighborhood sale going on at the same time.    I'm also putting together a map of area antique shops so you can make a whole day of it!

Please email me with contact information if you'd like to be put on our email list.

Hope to see you there.

P.S.  I recently had the pleasure of meeting the junkfest girls (Cassie, Missy, Lynette and Andrea), and they really are inspiring with their annual sale - http://junk-fest.blogspot.com/

Rain, Rain Go AWAY!!! We're heading to Springfield - THURSDAY!

Yep, it's that time again........

Hi there...  It's been a busy few weeks, and I've missed visiting my blogging friends (but hoping to get caught up soon - I know you're all busy too!!).  After an art show, and the Art & Architecture JUNKMARKET Style event (sooooo much fun and will post pics, etc. next week) - and now the Extravaganza - there's been no time to breathe (or dust, or do laundry - thank goodness my hubby is a GREAT help!!).

Anyway, wanted to let any of my Ohio readers/bloggers (or anyone traveling in for the Extravaganza) - that Terri and I will be set up in new spaces  - 621 and 634 (near the Arts Building) not far from where we usually are, but we wanted some room to spread out...and we're on a corner now - woo hoo!!  We've got some great stuff  (oh...and a few clocks too)!

Look for our sign...

The Springfield Extravaganza is on May 14, 15, 16 at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Springfield, Ohio.  There are usually over 2200 vendors (yep 2200) set up with everything from great "junk" to fine antiques.

Here's their website for more information:  http://www.springfieldantiqueshow.com/

You won't be disappointed - lots of shopping, awesome food vendors and...hopefully GREAT weather!  (The forecast is for rain tomorrow - hoping somebody puts up a giant umbrella - and protect all of us!!)

Hope to see you there.............

Art & Architecture JUNKMARKET Style...on YouTube!

Hi there!  Just had to share some sneak peeks of the Art & Architecture JUNKMARKET Style event in Minneapolis (this week...yep - it's TIME to head west...and, I'm packed...but it's time to "downsize"!).

Sue Whitney is sharing just a bit...on YouTube - click here!  There are eight video clips in all - check them out!   (And from what I can see...she's having way too much fun!)  The place looks absolutely AMAZING!!!  And, of course there's one titled "750 clocks" - yep that's what we shipped, and from the videos - it looks like they've settled right in, and are ready to find new homes - maybe yours???

Thanks for stopping by!

Kathy

P.S.  Here's my latest post on JUNKMARKET Style (I found the most wonderful vintage workbench - and it's the yummiest vintage-y shabby pink ever!  "Pretty in Pink"
