MARKET DAY RE-CAP…
Our Vintage Market Day is over for this year, and we’re looking ahead to next year (you know, always thinking of ways to do things better).
It was a beautiful summer day in a wonderful Victorian home, and we were busy all day long (upstairs and downstairs)! The girls in check-out were busy as bees! Our vendors (and volunteers) were fabulous! Setting up was a high-impact aerobic workout for sure (upstairs/downstairs)…not to mention tear down at the end of the show. (I didn’t get pics of everyone…darn it…but you’ll get the idea!)
This staircase was the spot for many a “Kodak” moments!! (And, what do you think of my sweet vintage dress?)Terri overseeing our room!RaeAnne – taking a break!OK, Lauren wins the “cutest customer award”…She’s just 17, and came to our show last year. She was vintage sweetness head to toe! (I think we may have to hire her for next year!!)
And, we couldn’t have done it without our hardworking volunteers either! They were all very gracious and helpful with customers (and a lot of fun too)!!! Thanks to Nanci (the Queen of Check-out), Ellen & Melanie (our smilin’ greeters), Ginny (helping wherever she was needed), Torianna & RaeAnne (our “schleppers (?) in training”), The girls from Bryan (Linda, Janet & Sue) helped out in check-out too – we love to multi-task, don’t we??
And of course, you want to see some of the great stuff everyone was selling… Here’s just a bit…
AND ON TO OUR NEXT MARKETING ADVENTURE…
