I'm pretty new to this blogging world, but I gotta tell ya...I've "met" so many kind, inspiring, and creative people. And the JunkFest girls at http://www.junk-fest.blogspot.com/ are one of my very favorite blogs. They have way too much fun (is that possible??) on their junking journeys and putting together projects for their famous "Junk Fest" and Fleamarket! (Which is on my junkin' "to do" list.) They are girls after my own heart - taking girl trips, and having fun junking and creating new uses for things that were otherwise forgotten or forgettable. If I lived nearby, I'd have to "crash" the club and join in! :)
Anyway, they passed this award on to me, and I wanted to say thanks SO much - I appreciate the thoughtfulness in including my blog!
So, anyway, for those bloggers listed below, here are the rules to fulfill the award process...
1) List 7 things you love.
2) Link to the person/blog that sent you the award.
3) Choose 7 more bloggers to pass the award to.
4) Comment on those 7 blogs to let the recipients know you've chosen them.

Part 1: Here are the seven things I love (and it was really hard to keep it at 7) - no...actually there's another one, and most important - I love the Lord, who gave His life, so I could live, and enjoy the world He's blessed us with...
Soooooo, now here's my seven...
1. My husband of 30+ years (for putting up with me and my "ever-expanding work area in the basement", and for not asking that age old question "you're gonna paint that white???" - it's a "guy thing"...).
2. My daughter - who IS "Sylvia's Vintage Granddaughter", and is (in her own creative way) following in her Mother's footsteps - she's a beautiful, independent, creative young woman, whom I admire for her spirit and sense of adventure!
3. My girlfriends (in my real life and here in blogland and at junkmarketstyle.com). I've been so blessed by the girls (that makes us sound younger, doesn't it???) in my life....Terri, Tela, Robin, Carol, Bev, Sue (my bff in Bryan), Ellen, Ericka (my bff's in Columbus), Robin (my bff and "sister" in Oregon), and others... There's great strength, faith, and spirit in this group (and a whole lotta BIG girl fun) - I appreciate them all SO much.
Then there are all these fun, inspiring people I've met blogging, and posting on junkmarketstyle.com - I've never seen so many talented and fun people so generously sharing their ideas (even how-to's) - not to mention how supportive everyone is of each other. And still meeting more all the time...
4. Fleamarkets (and all those other fun ways to find junk and/or add to our "collections") - our girls' junking trips are the best - great memories in each one - and not to mention the excitement of planning our next "junket"!
5. Crafting/creating, sharing and decorating with all our old stuff from #4...as well as "selling" which contributes to #4... (it's a vicious circle!).
6. Florida vacations with my husband, Jim, and friends, Robin & Kenny - time at the beach, Mt. Dora, restaurants, etc. - and filling the rest of our time with...refer to #4...
7. Mine and Terri's "girls' garage" workshop - equipped with power tools and paint!
Now for my list of "kreativ" bloggers - and there are definitely more than seven - and some who have already received their Kreativ Blogger award, so, I'm going to keep it going with some others on my "list"...(and if you haven't visited them yet...be sure to check them out).
1. Janis: http://janisgurney.blogspot.com/
2. Gioni: http://decoratortothestars.blogspot.com/
4. Kennesha: http://menmyhouseblog.blogspot.com/
5. Rachel: http://chippycottagecharmhouse.blogspot.com/
6. Melissa: http://thevintageattic.blogspot.com/
7. Midge: http://refunctionjunktion.blogspot.com/
I think I've covered all my bases for this award, and hoping that I'm not duplicating awards to fellow bloggers who have already received this award - but know that your blogs inspire and entertain me and many others!! Thanks again to Cassie, Sweet Melissa, Junkgirl and Lynette - the JunkFest Girls!
