Gallery Hop AND a Trunk Show!!!

It’s getting to be that time of year…the rush is on – oh heck, who am I kidding???  I feel like the whole year has been that way – but better busy than bored, right (I know there are a lot of us out there…it’s what we do)??  So, having said that – I’m once again a little behind in my blogging.  One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get back on the blogging track…I miss visiting all of your wonderful, inspiring blogs, and hearing from my fellow junkers!

On Saturday, November 5th, Terri and I did our very first trunk show in Columbus, at a great little store called…

Old World New Home is located at 941 N. High Street, in the Short North in Columbus, Ohio.  (click on the pic above to go to their blog)

Carlene Crist (co-owner with her daughter, Betsy) was our hostess for the evening.  It was a busy night – with a constant stream of people up until 11:00 pm…  We met some new customers, and made a few new friends!

It’s a fabulous store, with so much charm and wonderful vintage décor everywhere!  The photos tell it all…so I won’t (ha ha…)!

It was a beautiful night – perfect for strolling and shopping from store to store…

A pair of vintage ice skates got a makeover…and I added plumes from some pampas grass…love it!

Stay tuned and I’ll be posting pics of some of my Christmas creations – we’re doing the 33rd Annual Ontario Community Craft Show on Saturday, December 3rd, 8:30 – 4:00 at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield!  We’ll be in the Arts & Crafts Building – spaces 48 and 49!  Come see us…tis the season!!!
